"Autumn is a second Spring, where every leaf is a flower" - Albert Camus
We are leaning in to this fall, perhaps like none other. For us, the colors and scents are richer, more vibrant, more intoxicating that ever before. A simple scent or beautiful leaf evokes powerful memories and heightens the anticipation of Autumn gatherings and memorable experiences to come.
The embrace of this fall, though different from previous ones, feels extra warm and cozy. We are setting the Autumn mood with lots of baking, fun decor, and of course candles!
Our favorite Baked Apple Recipe
6-8 peeled and cored apples-Braeburn, Granny Smith, Red Delicious are our favs!
1/4 butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine all ingredients except apples in a saucepan over a low heat for about 2 minutes until all ingredients form a smooth sauce
Place the whole apples in a baking tin and pour warm sauce on top, cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover apples and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Enjoy!
